Q2 opened with a record $6.6T stock market loss and soaring bond yields. Even with all that, median NYC home prices rose 4.5%—but don’t let that fool you.

Much of that strength was due to contracts signed before the April 2nd tariff shock. Since then, activity has slowed. Brooklyn’s headed for a softer quarter. And the U.S. dollar’s down nearly 11% YTD—a big green light for foreign buyers.
